here you go

You should know these are not in order. These are pictures mostly from Pictured Rocks. There are some pictures from Kansas and Oklahoma and some from ...other places.

Sunset. Don't ask me the name of the rock formation. I just thought it was awesome. And I wanted to share it. Because I like you guys.

Nifty rock formation where they let people wander to watch sunsets. There was no one there. But you could see for miles. The land on the far horizon is Grand Island.

More sea cliffs. Since I can't get out to the Pacific Northwest until later in my life, I was thrilled to see these things. Heaven it was.

More sea cliff. Still pretty.

I thought this little river was pretty. I like the settings on my camera to make itlook all flow-y. Now if I could just consistently HOLD THE CAMERA STRAIGHT. Or at least SET UP THE TRIPOD STRAIGHT.

Which falls are these? I forget. They might be Miner's Falls. I think they are. And they are awesome. Don't you think?

Chapel Rock. That tree up there has these massive roots that reach over a cliff to anchor it back to the mainland. I wanted to climb around in the caves, but I didn't have my climbing shoes. And I think it would be slightly illegal. Otherwise I woulda been gone baby gone.

Yes, that's me. I know my legs are horribly pale and I generally look stupid. But I have to show people that I at least exist. So there I am!

This is the little river I was standing in but without me in it. It empties onto the beach. Isn't that COOL?! The black rock is sandstone and the white bottom is sand. A little further up the way is the flowy river in the crooked picture above.

This is the the edge of Chapel Falls looking down from above, before it goes over the big drop.

This is Chapel falls looking straight across from the other side of the cliff. That's the big drop.

Yes, I still love my awesome camera.

It can do this. Miramac Caverns in Missouri.

And this, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This is an old truck I liked in Deer Creek, Oklahoma. Poplulation, 12. Or so I'd like to think. It's almost a ghost town.

This sticker is stuck to the door of the old grocery store in Deer Creek. I love it. It looked like it was a good size grocery at one time, too. See, the rail road left. Took their tracks away and everything. Then the people left, too. Most of the buildings in the downtown are abandoned. Except the post office and maybe this one mechanic's shop, but I think it's storage more than it is actively used.

More Oklahoma City. Nifty downtown.

Yeah, still like my camera. Oklahoma City street.

My beloved War Bonnet Santa Fe. I heart this train. And it sucks that it was behind a fence, otherwise I would have liked to go bond with it. I have never seen one in person until that night in Oklahoma City.

I think this was in Wichita. My camera doesn't capture sunsets well.

Obligatory shot of the St. Louis arch. From the highway.

My favorite holiday is the 4th of july. Camera was there with me. I should name the camera.

Outcroppings. And they pop out of nowhere. I thought I was in heaven. And now I'm realizing I'm very strange. But that's what makes me special. I think.

Well, I hope you liked the pictures you've all been dying for.
Well, perhaps I exaggerate since there are possibly four people who read this blog. But I still hope you like them. :)

On one side note, Keaton and I have gone our separate ways. Which, overall, is a good thing. He just doesn't realize it yet. And I stress Yet. I, in all, am doing just fine, so don't worry about empathy or sympathy. I'm covered.

And here's one last fun thing for you. See the pretty timber wolf.

Well, I would love to come to portland and have a frou frou drink. Except that Westley magically reappeared (with his Kaa eyes) and magically proposed. I magically accepted (I know, it sounds insane, but it's a great thing).

Wanna go to a wedding in Michigan? I'll treat you to a steak, chicken, or pasta (your choice) yummy cake and a frou frou drink. ;)
